My first project

 So, I do a lot of washing up, here is my view...

The wall at the back on the left is UGLY. I plan to use paint, pots, baskets, boxes and 'objects' to cheer it up. I was thinking a Royal Blue background....

But first I have to clean up the wall....hopefully both sun and time will come to me soon!

The beginning! March 2013

So, Hi!

I have decided to do a monthly update of my garden for the next few months or so to keep an ongoing record of what I manage to do.

I live in Bristol, UK with my husband and two kids. We have had the garden for two years. In the first year all I seemed to do was pull stuff up and clear up! I am very lucky as I have two amazing Parents-in -law who have planted, added a pond and dug up the most enormous ivy root you have ever seen.

This year I plan to do some of the fun stuff too. My gardening skills are very low and I am 'learning on the job..'

So today was the first time the weather was warm enough and the rain stopped for about 3 hours so I started weeding...sadly I didn't take any 'before' photos. I found loads of baby slugs and I have a massive wild garlic/ chive problem I got the lot into my green bin! This is what my garden looks like now!

I have lots of ideas for what i want it to look like, but if you have any suggestions, particularly for types of plants, let me know!
